Short Menu is the smartest way to shorten links!
With Short Menu URL shortening is fun. It's in your menubar, so
you can access it anytime. Short Menu has a large selection of URL
services and it's very easy to use. Short Menu automatically takes
the URL from your clipboard. You only have to click one button,
then you've shortened your URL and your short URL is copied to your
clipboard. Short Menu automatically sends notifications to you
which are showing your new URL.
You can also set a global shortcut for shortening URLs. Just go
into the preferences, choose one of 12 services and set the
shortcutcut you want. And whenever you press the shortcut, the URL
from your clipboard will be shortened and automatically copied. Of
course, Short Menu will send a notification to you.
But there's also an easier way to shorten URLs, it's called Auto
Short. With Auto Short you can automatically let shorten every URL
you copy. Simply select a service in the preferences and activate
it. You can also control the interval in which Auto Short should
search your clipboard. The shortened URL will automatically be
copied and it'll send a notification. It's that easy!
Of course you can adapt the URL services. For example you can use
your own bit.ly and j.mp account. If you want to use a completely
other URL service, you can configure it in the preferences.
